An upgraded tensioner is available with NAPA Timing Chains.

In accordance with BMW OEM standards, the NAPA Timing Chains kit (for product NCK4008 and NCK4034) includes an upgraded version (11318586699) of the timing chain tensioner specifically designed for use with N47 and N57 engines. The inclusion of a longer thread and tighter spring in the tensioner is intended to enhance overall engine performance.
